TRUE HAPTIC PRESENCE FOR THE RADIOLOGIST
Doctor-friendly navigation & force reflection
The Tele‑Robotic Diagnostics System’s secure telemetry subsystem provides radiologists with immediate, responsive control across distances, ensuring they always feel connected to the patient. With a Doctor Side Haptic Unit featuring force reflection, the tactile sensation of the procedure is preserved. Radiologists can manipulate the probe with a full 6-Degree of Freedom on the patient side, mastering remote assessments without losing the "feel" of a bedside exam. This isn't just remote scanning. It's diagnostics reimagined for a connected world.
THE TELE-ROBOTIC FUTURE
Leading the way in remote ultrasonography
We are developing a robust Patient Side Robotic Unit (PSRU) that allows for precise remote manipulation of ultrasound probes. Our system acts as a direct extension of the radiologist's hand, leveraging a secure telemetry subsystem to supercharge diagnostic access.
Our goal: Enable doctors to remotely interrogate patients' diagnostic ultrasound prompts as needed to a specialist physician to deliver optimal results to every patient, regardless of location.

The Timeline
From vision to clinical transformation

MAY 2024
From Prototype to Demonstration: Proving Remote Ultrasonography Works
Our team built a working tele-robotic ultrasound prototype that brings together patient-side probe manipulation, doctor-side control, and real-time imaging feedback in one end-to-end system. The platform has been demonstrated live to validate the complete remote scanning workflow and to inform the reliability, usability, and repeatability required for multi-site deployment.

DECEMBER 2025
From Demo to Repeatable Use: AIIMS Trials Across Multiple Clinical Locations
At AIIMS New Delhi, we conducted trials across different locations within the campus to validate that the workflow remains consistent outside a controlled lab setup. These sessions helped refine usability, reliability, and end-to-end performance—key requirements for repeatable deployment across sites.

2025+
Antarctica to AIIMS: Proving Remote Ultrasonography at Extreme Distance
We demonstrated tele-robotic ultrasound with the clinician-side station at AIIMS New Delhi, validating the end-to-end workflow over long-distance connectivity. The demonstrations covered standard B-mode scanning (e.g., abdominal screening, musculoskeletal imaging, and superficial organ scans such as thyroid/soft-tissue) and Doppler-enabled workflows, where steady probe handling and repeatable acquisition are critical. This milestone stress-tested real-time control and imaging feedback under latency and bandwidth variation, strengthening readiness for field deployments.
